SRES Training

• Training is conducted onsite.
• Training cost is based on an 8 hour day. Training is provided with the purchase of a new planter at no charge.
• With one day of training, we can cover the whole planter. The first part of the day is usually spent inside, mainly covering safety and the Big John controller.
• The second part of the day is spent out on the planter with hands on training. Weather permitting the planter can be field ready by the end of the day.
• With the history of past trainings, we have found that the onsite trainings work the best. While there are no restrictions on the number of participants, 4-5 works best, with 1-2 key operators.
• The planter should be ready to go before the training. It should be hooked to the tractor that will be used for planting. The seed tray holders, divider/single drops, controls, and seats should be positioned where they will be used. Because these things take time, if it is not done before the training it could take up most of training time.
• Trainings are to be scheduled 30 days in advance.
• Open dates are taken on a first come first serve basis.

* March 15 through May 31 is reserved for new planter setups and special contingencies.
